17: Aldwych for the Waldorf Hotel

AldwychThe bus goes into a one-way crescent called Aldwych. A few of London's well-known theatres can be seen down the first side street, before you pass the grand facade of the Waldorf Hotel (named after the original in New York). Across the road is Bush House, once the headquarters of the BBC overseas operations, the 'World Service', but this has now relocated to new buildings at Broadcasting House at the top end of Regent Street.
